We love the concept of shinrin-yoku. Translated from Japanese, this phrase means “forest bathing.” Studies prove that when you immerse yourself in the outdoors, your stress levels diminish. Breathing in fresh air and hearing the sounds of nature calms the mind and the body. 

We’re all busy, and it seems like we’re all traveling at the speed of light.  Which means that many of us experience a lot of stress. City Lights Glamping can help you slow down, release that stress, and enjoy yourself! 

One of our mottoes at City Lights Glamping is “y’all means all.” 

When we say that, “y’all should glamp,” we mean “all y’all”! 

Glamping is often much more accessible than traditional camping. No need for lengthy treks through the woods or hard-to-get-into sleeping bags. We have even converted self-identified *non-campers* to glamping enthusiasts.  Sleeping on a memory foam mattress, covered with a fluffy duvet, on a bed frame, truly hits differently than the sleeping bags on leaky air mattress from traditional camping. 

Don’t get us wrong. We all love a good hotel stay. However, visiting a fancy high-rise hotel or staying at an idyllic all-inclusive resort can take a toll on the environment. 

At City Lights Glamping, sustainability is one of our core principles. We work to be as easy on the environment as possible. After all, we want generations to come to be able to enjoy the outdoors as much as we do! A few of the things we do are:  

• We use an eco-focused laundromat that feature the most energy efficient washers and dryers and sustainable laundry products.  
• We optimize transportation to minimize our impact on the environment, additionally we carpool.  
• We repurpose vintage items and decor.
